Generating catalog tasks sequentially in specific order

Hello everyone,

I want to generate 3 catalog tasks at almost the same time, but in a specific order.

I tried to put the 3 tasks in the correct sequence in the workflow with "Wait for completion" unchecked (see screenshots below). The tasks were generated at the same time with no correct order (see screenshot below).

Is there an "Order" field we can play with for tasks generation? Or is there any way to leave a gap of a minute or 2 between the tasks generation??

Hi Mazin,

Tehre is an order field on 'Task' table , you should use it. That is the way to go.

And where to set this variable "Order"? In the workflow activity "Catalog Task"?

If you are creating them in a sequence, there shouldn't be a problem...does the short description doesn't match the order you want to create?

You are actually right

I was trying to order the tasks by clicking on the "Created" field.

I just noticed when I order them using the "Task number", it comes in the correct order.
