Generating Word Documents using Templates

Hello Community,

Since SNC can export XML and Excel, would it be somehow possible to export Word Documents? The idea would be to have a word template, with specific placeholders (eg.: ##NUMBER##), and in a record, you could click a ui action and generate a word with all the placeholders replaced with the field values. It would also be nice when the generated word is automatically attached to the record 😉

I just saw that you had the same issue as Oliver and thought I would pass on the same info : We have just released an app   on the ServiceNow Store called CreatorDoc that solves   this problem with a few more features such as being able to create multiple word doc templates, logos , letterheads , approval process before publishing/exporting   , preview function, version control etc You can trial it for free and if you have any question our support team can assist.
