Global fix for catalog item variables on RITMs/Catalog Tasks to never be mandatory

I would like to create a global fix for catalog item variables on RITMs/Catalog Tasks to never be mandatory when already filled out on the form. Currently, fixes have to be applied at the individual catalog item level, which is less efficient that creating a global rule to prevent variables from being mandatory and editable on RITMs/TASKs as a whole.

 

Variables should never be mandatory on Catalog Tasks/Requested Items.

I think thats how it is. It hides the mandatory when filled out. 

What is the use case are you trying to solve?

@SanjivMeher we are not trying to solve any business use case but out platform team requested it. Can you suggest on how to achieve it?
