Guidance Needed for Software Catalog Fulfillment

I could use some help/suggestions regarding software and handling things like the Support group, Fulfillment group, change group, etc. I am curious how other people handling Software in their organization. My company isn't currently using SAM for any Discovery but we still need the ability to catalog Software both from vendors as well as in house software. I am new to the side of having to deal with the software and hoped to be able to leverage say a field or table that a flow can dynamically process for software instead of needing a flow for each software that I have to build and maintain. I primarily am looking to have the ability to know who supports the software in the company if there are issues, who approves installation, who might configure access if needed, etc. Just wondering how others leverage the CMDB to do this.

Hi @MichaelH5716707,
You can use the OOTB table Software Packages [ cmdb_ci_spkg ] and Software Models for this purpose.
Regrading "who supports the software" this is very subjective to organizataion's IT department. If you are developing any catalog item then first level alway requestor's manager after that respective IT team ( for any licesnse or cost related ) finally it goes to IT team who has admin access to install that sofware.
Some Org has software center in place which will auto install the once requested.
