We are looking to utilize powerbi.com for data analytics of our ServiceNow data. They are utilizing OData connection.
Wondering if anyone has had experience using something like this and how you were able to access the data. We seem to be having connection problems. We can connect by using the basic REST functionality with basic auth, but are getting errors trying with OData and my thought is that I must have a header incorrect.

Hi all — we're excited to announce the availability of a content pack for ServiceNow Incidents!
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=730664
If you're looking for additional features, please vote on the ServiceNow connector in the PBI Desktop (https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200/suggestions/8106117) or add another idea for a new ServiceNow content pack!

From a accessibility standpoint, do users in Servicenow need to be equipped with any special roles to be able to import ServiceNow data to PowerBI?

The connector works for Incidents! I love it and find it to be more useful for me than Performance Analytics - Trial Version (at least) because I can get Re-assignment count. You can get the connector via Get Data in PowerBI but it only works with Basic Authentication accounts and rest_service role enabled.

Any idea if a local SNOW account using the side_door.do would work? We are using SSO.

Shane,
Sorry for the delay getting back to you. Even if you are using SSO you can create a secondary local admin user. That worked for me.
Thanks,
Ewan
