Hello,
I made a change to only remove a widget from a DEV environment by clicking the remove button on the header of the widget. However, when I migrate the update set from DEV to TEST via update source, in the TEST environment, the widget is not removed and the dashboard is not updated with the changes from the DEV update set. I tried to unload dashboard and that did not work. Any suggestions?

I believe the method should have worked as well. For a workaround, I copied the existing dashboard, deleted the original, and unloaded the copied dashboard to migrate to another instance.

1. Create a new update set and make it current.
2. View the dashboard (you may need to be the owner or admin), Click on the hamburger menu in the upper left.
3. Select 'Dashboard Properties' from the menu.
4. Click on the hamburger icon in the upper left, select 'Unload Dashboard')
5. Go to the update set created and mark it "complete"
You can now promote your changes to test, and other instances.

Thank you for responding.
I am admin. I also already tried unloading the dashboard into the update set before promoting to test.

In that case, seems creating a Support Case is you next step. As that method is supposed to work. There have been changes in the platform since I last used that method.
