help with dashboard on alm_consumable

i need some help in creating such dashboard in the asset workspace 

 

 in the alm_consumable table , there is cost for each of the peripheral ,  to display what is the total cost of the peripheral in the stock room ( per) and also per user how much have been spent ?

It depends on the requirement itself. What is the purpose of the report? There is no field in the system storing the 'spent per user' amount. Of course, everything can be calculated, but it is a huge difference in how you are setting this up, if you are expecting a list, showing the number per user, of a single score that you filter on the user to see his/her amount. Same for 'per peripheral'. 

 

Depending on the requirement (like if you need to report on users having more than 1000 spent, or something like that), it could be that your best solution is to calculate it to a custom field on the user record. Also here, the same goes for peripherals. Without knowing exactly what the purpose of showing the data (and how it should be shown) is, we can only be guessing as to what you are trying to achieve and that can give you a lot of different answers.

 

Next to that: you say 'create a dashboard in the asset workspace'. Is this an additional dashboard you are going to make available within the workspace, or are you updating the current landing page to show this data?

we will have incidents and requested that will have user details ( columns will be created ) tagged on the alm_consumable table and on the table per item there is a cost to it which will be the input.
