I opened a case recently regarding an issue with mandatory fields in the Service Portal (checkbox specifically) that when displayed on RITM would not observe the "read-only" attribute we have set for all variables. The solution proposed was to set system property 'glide.sc.use_sc_form_v2' from false to true. This does fix the issue - great news - however, based on the description of the property 'use to control g_form version (SN bug fix for teh Wizard/macro defect in VTB", I am not sure what else can or will be impacted if I change the value to 'True'. I have opened another HI ticket to better understand what else this property impacts because we do use VTB boards and we also use wizards (which we know are deprecated). As I was submitting my case, the pop-up to remind me that the community can often answer questions faster came up, so.... while I did submit the case, I thought I would see if anyone here happens to know....
What does the system property 'glide.sc.use_sc_form_v2' impact? How can I test to confirm the impact?

It's a new version of Service Catalog Item forms and shouldn't impact VTBs. I would recommend doing this in one of your non-production instances before making a change to production:
Set the property to true and test each of your Catalog Items to validate functionality hasn't changed.
