How Can I bulk update the 'Reply To' and 'From' Fields for all Email Notifications?

 

Dear ServiceNow Community Colleagues,

 

I have a requirement from a client, whereby they want to bulk update, for circa 2k System Notification > Email > Notifications in ServiceNow, both the 'Reply To' and 'From' fields, with a certain specified Email address.

 

What is the best solution to achieve this, as a bulk update, bearing in mind there are over 2,000 Email Notifications where I would need to update this specific Email address to these fields?

 

I have attached a screenshot, showing the list view - this is where I search in Core UI Navigator: System Notification > Email > Notifications. It is both the Reply To and From fields I need to update.

 

I would greatly appreciate advice on how to update these and what would be the configuration steps and code, if a Script is involved? If not a Script, is there an alternative approach to do bulk updates in this scenario?

Hi  @WazzaJC . 
I Suggest that you take a look at the Data Management features of the platform - in your case, the "Update records".

Update records safely • Zurich ServiceNow AI Platform Administration • Docs | ServiceNow

This basically allows you to plan, and schedule the update(s) .
The Data management feature also gives you a rollback record; just in case 😉
