We are converting from CMS to Service Portal and I have a specific catalog item that I do not want to be searchable at all in Service Portal.
How can I restrict the access for a specific item?
Thanks,
Karen

Hi Karen,
In the catalog item, there is a flag 'No Search'. Just mark it true and it shouldn't show up in search.
Thats the condition used in Service Portal Search source for Service Catalog.

User Criteria on the catalog item under the Related List Available for (or Not Available for). That will limit who can search and use the item

Hi Michael,
So I have an additional question on this method, but for CMS only. We are already using the Related List Available For and Not Available For on our Catalog Items. Now, this does remove them from our CMS Service Catalog. However, when you search for something in the Global Search while impersonating a user who is listed in the Not Available For, the Catalog Item is still searchable. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Sanjiv,
I went inside of the catalog item and I don't see the "No Search" flag. Am I not looking in the correct place?
