How can I use a datasource connector in Excel to load data directly from a ServiceNow table into a spreadsheet.

The short description says it all. I'm hoping that someone has done this.
The use case is this:
A user opens an Excel spreadsheet.
In the spreadsheet is a datasource connector which queries a ServiceNow table and populates the spreadsheet.
I did a quick look at the datasource connector and while there's lots of options, none of them jump out at me as "the one" to use.
Thanks in advance if you can provide any help with this.

Hi @Mike Allen I am also looking to find a way to pull-in Servicenow data into an Excel sheet. The link you provided above didn't suggest a solution to that. Can you still help?
Thanks,
Devyani

I have this requirement where data in excel sheets(of same template)are to be loaded to same target table in servicenow. the File type Data source will help, but as per the configuration we are mapping all the excel files to the same datasource. while running the transform, system is taking only one file and mapping data. Is there any way i can use the same datasource for all files and map all of them to the specified target table?
Thanks in advance,
Swetha
