How do I remove an attribute from a form field?

Couple questions.
#1 - I added an attribute on the Description field within the form for our Freight Internal Case view. I added "Knowledge Search" so I was able to then be able to search the knowledge base for any related articles off of what is in the description. Was working...then I wanted to see how the Knowledge Custom attribute would work and it then caused the search to not be able to happen at all. No big deal...was worth a try. But now I cannot remove the attribute. I am an Admin and should have the ability to do so. I see you can flip the value to False, however, that is to no avail...doesn't do anything for me.
So, anyone know how the attribute can be removed?
#2 - I wanted to just get the Related Context Search or Contextual Results to appear and work within our cases as well...however I cannot seem to get that to work. I remember doing this ages and ages ago in our old instance and have now forgotten how it is done 🙂
Any help is much welcomed.
