Say I checked out a workflow. Then I made changes to it. Then I decided the changes I made were bogus, and I want to cancel all changes I made and check out another copy of the current workflow?
As of now, I've just been manually removing the changes I made then publishing. I see there is a delete option, but will this delete my checked out version or the current workflow itself?
This seems like a very basic question, but I'm having difficulty finding the answer. Please help. Thanks

When you have a checked out workflow, that delete option will only delete your checked out version of that workflow. Your published workflow has not been modified in any way during that time. If you have any doubts about this, create a test workflow to see how the delete function works.

You also need to make sure that you've not got any active contexts of the checked-out version of the workflow running at the time, or the 'delete' option will not be there. You can use the 'Show Contexts' menu option to see if any active contexts are running against your checked out version. Only you can create workflow contexts from a checked out version, everyone else will use the previous version.
