How much can I increase the size limit of the instance's import file?

In my instance I use XML to import the data.
However, the size of the file exceeded the import limit, so I plan to increase the import limit. I've heard that increasing the import limit can cause problems for your instance.

How high can you actually raise the import limit?
It would be helpful if there were specific values and achievements.

If you navigate to System Properties -> Import Export you will find the properties that you can alter to achieve you requirement.

Hi Importing large size of xml beaware the browser will hang. Better to break the import xml into multiple parts
