How often are backups performed on instances

Hello,

I just had a quick question about how ServiceNow's Backup process works. I am referring to Backups automatically stored by ServiceNow , "behind the scene", in case anything occurs to an instance without a local backup. I am wondering how often ServiceNow creates an instance backup, does this vary per organization? Also, is it simple to restore to one of those backups if needed? and finally how would one find out when the most recent backup occured?

You can submit a ticket on the HI server to find out where your primary data center is and where your fail over data center is located.

ServiceNow also maintains seven daily and three weekly backups on disk. The backup data never leaves the ServiceNow data centers. Backups are taken in both data centers on all customer instances including sub-production and production instances. It is important to note the primary recovery method of a customer production instance is to use the High Availability replica. The backups are used as a secondary recovery mechanism.
