How to add an attachment in Glide Dialog window?

Hi All,

I have a requirement. I am calling a custom UI page through GlideWindow API using UI action on form .

I want to add add attachments to the form as well using same GlideWindow.

I am new to UI page creation . Need suggestions how to add an attachment box in the UI page and then how to process the attached file.

I can see their is an OOB attachment page, can it be utilized? and If yes then how?

All suggestions are welcomed..

Hey,

How you are currently sending attachments? Why do we want to exclude attachments from email? Every ticket might have different attachments.

Currently I am sending attachments using template.print in notification mail script.

The scenario is like I am using this action to request information from the users.

So whoever is working on ticket he can ask for information by clicking on ui action . in Ui action I am calling merged Ui page.. While asking info he should be able to send some attachments . but there can be existing attachments as well which he doesn't want to send in mail.

So I want my glide window to be able to select specific attachments from the ticket not all. And after submit those attachments should be sent.

Hey Deepti,

I really dont think you can identify the difference between the attachments added using the UI Page and added from the ticket.

Hi Kannan,

I do have the same requirement, to add the attachment icon on one of the custom ui page, but when, i merged both the Ui pages, it is still not showing me any attachment icon.

could you please guide me.on this..
