How to add articles/information to the NEWS widget on the Service Portal

Our Service Portal has a NEWS widget. I need to give access to the ServiceDesk Manager to input news. Where is the input placed at so that it is visible to endusers?

Hi,
So, is your widget pulling up the articles from KB tables?
If yes, you don't need to give access to input knowledge articles from here, but you would need to give permissions to manager to insert KB articles in Kb_knowledge.
You could modify your current widget, to show a button as "Input Knowledge" and show it to the managers.
On click, you could write a code to create a modal window for the managers to put in the content

Do you have a separate table to store the news? Generally, news articles are stored in kb_knowledge table with a topic as news.
