Yes for example, or add the Attachment to the sys_cs_topic record for example, really up to you where to add the Attachment. When it's added, you can create a hyperlink to that attachment and display that to the user.
Kind regards,
Mark

Hi,
Take a look at the documentation here. You can use the File Picker user input control.

We can retrieve a file from the user's computer using the File Picker property, but in my case, the user needs to receive a file, and the Topics designer table lacks an attachment icon. How can we upload the file to the ServiceNow instance without the attachment icon?

Hi @Ashok59 ,
Hope you are doing great.
To configure attachment-related topics in Virtual Agent and enable the option to share files with users, you can follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the Virtual Agent Designer.
- Locate the topic you wish to configure and select it. Within the topic configuration, click on the "Bot Responses" tab.
- In the list of responses, find the response where you want to include the troubleshooting steps file.
- Under the "Message" field, you can add a statement informing the user about the attachment. For example: "Please find the troubleshooting steps file attached."
- To attach the file, you can utilize the "Attachment" option. The exact implementation may vary depending on your ServiceNow version, but you typically have an "Attachments" or "Attachments and Variables" section within the response configuration.
- In this section, you should be able to add the troubleshooting steps file as an attachment. This can usually be done by specifying the file path or by uploading the file directly from your local machine.
- Save the changes to the topic configuration.

I don't see any Attachment option in the Topics. If possible, please share the screenshot.

Ashok.
