how to add multiple records in the list type field in workspace

Hi All,

I've a use case where I've a list field referring to a custom table and users want to select multiple records when the search in the field. When I select the search option on the field, I see below records:

We want such check box to allow user select multiple records:

I'm facing issue with the field in the form. I believe Declarative Action won't be the solution in my case.

Your screenshots show lists, not forms, so unclear what you mean. 

Next to that: did you try the solution, or did you just assume it won't work? If there isn't an action to be performed on selected records, you can't select records.
