Hi community,
I'd like to ease the transition for a few teams who are using the Agile Board (rm_story...) to the SAFe Portfolio module using Unified Backlog on the SAFe board. My theory was that it would work to have a parallel SAFe Story in the same way like it works fine with Incidents etc.
However, it seems to be impossible to create a Triage Definition on the SAFe Board which can handle the existing Stories because the "Agile Story" field is always filled out (with the same number) even when it is not a SAFe Story. I removed the "Agile Story is empty" filter, but I can still not add it to the backlog. The field can't be overwritten, obviously. Any ideas how to do it? Shall I simply change the Class/Task type?
Best regards

Hi Valen,
I remember Agile Unified Backlog plugin allows you to use incident, problem... backlog alongside stories. Also, you can create triage boards separately for incidents and for your existing stories. Also, records which belong to SAFe feature appears on the SAFe board.
Check out the product documentation for setting up a triage board : Setting up a triage board
Hope this helps. If there's anything else, please reply back to this.
Thanks.

Hi Bhaba,
Thanks for replying. I already know how to setup Triage Boards, but my issue is that I didn't find a way to add the "old" Stories (rm_story) to the SAFe Backlog. It's possible to switch the Task Type on a Story to become a SAFe Story, but that's a very dirty way indeed, and I'm looking for something that is maybe more generic.
Best regards,
Valen
