How to best manage/configure the Export to PowerPoint add-in for SPM?

Hi community members,
We are about to activate the Export to PPT for SPM in our instance. I have some questions in mind right now regarding the add-in:
- Can the add-in be made available only to the users that are identified to create the project status report template? Or is it going to be available to all users in the organization with access to MS PowerPoint (regardless of if desktop or online)?
- Does the creation and updating of project status report template only works for those with desktop version of MS PowerPoint? Or is it also available in the online MS PowerPoint?
- Is there a specific version of MS0365 / MS PPT required for the add-in to work?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

1. Only Project Managers can create a status report and then export it to PPT
2. Once it generates the PPT, it downloads the PPT file. You can then right click the file and click 'View Online' to view it for M365 online users. No issues there.
3. Office 365 / Microsoft 365 or PowerPoint 2016 and newer
