How to check blackout window conflict in the change form

Hi,

I have a requirement on change module regarding the blackout window.I have created a new blackout window with a date range schedule and wanted that if someone selects a planned start date or planned end date between the blackout window range on the change form, the user should be notified or gets an alert of invalid date range.

I have searched through community and learned that there is an out of the box property Change conflict detector which should automatically check the date range.

Also changed the Conflict properties by checking the last two options.Also tested by checking only one of those two.Still not getting any conflicts. Please suggest a way how can this be possible.
