How to configure SMS and Email notification in Major Incident Management

I have a requirement to provide the communication through SMS and Email in Major Incident Management. Could you please tell me how to achieve the requirement?

Make use of major incident workbench 

 

Also,

You can use business rule which will trigger when an SMS or Email is sent, this will also update the work notes field on the incident record. Create a new BR and set the table to "Incident", then, set the conditions for the BR to trigger when an SMS or Email is sent via the communicate tab in the View Workbench.

Add an action to the BR to update the work notes field on the incident record.
