How to create Scheduled Reports in Excel format

Scheduled report is in pdf format instead of excel format. Is there any way to create and schedule the report in Excel format.

Create a report with type as "List" and in scheduled report configuration use type as "Excel".

In the Filter Navigator search for Scheduled Reports

open it and search for your scheduled reports

In the type field you can select excel
