How to Disable New and Edit Button in Related List

Hi,

How will I remove the New and Edit button in the Group Members Related List in Groups Table? Our ITIL- Service Desk users would like to have access on this but I don't want them to touch (create new or edit). Is there a way other than creating a script? Thanks.

Right click near header of related list-choose list control-Add roles to the New Filter/Edit filter.
