How to enable email sending and receiving at email properties in Madrid Personal Developer Instance

Hello,

I have Recently joined developer community and I am new to service now developer platform. I have a personal developer instance Madrid and I tried to enable email sending and receiving properties to learn about Email Configuration in service now platform but I could not enable it because its showing some disable symbol, Somebody guide me in this.

Could you please help me in this.

change the application scope to global .

or

write sys_properties.LIST in application navigator.

and search for below two properties and set true

glide.email.smtp.active

glide.email.read.active

Hi Anusha,

I am facing same problem and this property updated by developer.snc and showing ready only. Have you find any solution. Please update here if any got solution.

Hi Raj,

This issue will arrive when you are in custom created application. Please go to global application then try to change it will allow.

OR

use below code in left navigator.

glide.email.smtp.active

glide.email.pop3.active
