How to enable email sending and receiving at email properties in Madrid Personal Developer Instance

Hello,

I have Recently joined developer community and I am new to service now developer platform. I have a personal developer instance Madrid and I tried to enable email sending and receiving properties to learn about Email Configuration in service now platform but I could not enable it because its showing some disable symbol, Somebody guide me in this.

Could you please help me in this.

change the application scope to global .

or

write sys_properties.LIST in application navigator.

and search for below two properties and set true

glide.email.smtp.active

glide.email.read.active

just got out of the same issue. change your scope to global then try again it will work.

Any update guys because I ticked them in Global scope then also mail is remaining in Outbox and not sending
