How to get custom field to receive 'assigned to you" notification once task is updated

How can i get a additional verifier or implementer to receive a notification f they are added to a task as an update?

I have two custom fields (list) that are for "additional implementers" and "additional verifiers". If someone wants to add them to a task once its already been assigned I need the user to still receive a "assigned to you" task notification email. 

Is anyone familiar with how to configure the conditions so they will receive this ?

*screeenshot below. The configuration I'm using now is wonky and send several emails out and leaves out the original implementers name

Hi Slava, I'm not sure if my question was explained properly as it was just one response and that article doesn't answer "how to" get email notifications so it wasn't very helpful for this situation. I don't see how its showing me to write out a script or how i would structure it if i ha to write a script.
