How to Import Test Step Data into Tests Module in Test Management 2.0 using Excel?

Hello Community,

I am working with the Test Management 2.0 plugin in ServiceNow and I have created several Test Cases under the Tests module. I now want to import multiple test steps into these test cases using an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file, to save time and avoid manual entry.

My questions are:

1. Is there a way to import test step data into the Tests module in Test Management 2.0?


2. Can this be done using an Import Set or any other recommended approach?


3. What format or column structure does the Excel file need to follow for successful import?


4. How do we map test steps to their respective test cases during the import?

 

If anyone has done this before or has documentation/templates to share, I’d really appreciate your support.
