How to make catalog item "favorite" on the portal form

Hi,

 

Is there a way to make some catalog items "favorites" among the list of catalog items on the portal form, that way it would save end users the stress of having to navigate to it every time they want to make a request ither through Incident or catalog item.

For Service Portal, out-of-the-box Favorites is turned off. Though you can turn it on. On the Portal record set field "Enable Favorites" to true (do this from the List Layout).

@Mark Roethof  is there something additional that needs to be done to add the favorite/heart on catalog items? I enabled favorites in the portal and it does show on knowledge articles, but not catalog items.

@tsutherland there should not be, though an often cause I see: customers cloning and editing widgets and not bringing them up-to-date with releases and therefor missing out on functionality added. Might that be also in your case?

Thank you! That is exactly what it was waaay back during initial implementation. I got a PD instance and was able to retrieve the original files.
