Hi Everyone
When I released the update set from the TEST instance to the PROD instance , I noticed that Snow suggested that I map the custom table to the purchased subscriptions. We have 5 custom tables that need to be mapped, and two of them inherit from the task table。
I would like to know
1. the benefits of mapping custom tables to subscriptions?
2. What is the impact of not doing mapping?
3. Why is there no prompt to map to subscription when DEV instance release to test instance? Does mapping custom tables to subscriptions only need to be implemented in the PROD instance?
4. The following image is a summary of our subscription for our PROD instance. Which subscription should I map our custom table to?

the best person to respond is your company's ServiceNow account representative.
They can reach out to Servicenow and provide you good explanation

Hi @lipan,
As per documentation, mapping the custom tables to subscriptions is compliance. Mapping and tracking the tables ensures that organization does not run out of custom table entitlements on prod instance.
There is provision of exempted table and those custom tables do not count towards subscription entitlements.
