How to populate the related fields in the service offering in the change request record

Hello, 

I'm new to coding and I would very much like to ask you for help.

Here i have a requirement to auto populate the values in service offering field when the category is chosen.

here the category and service (business_service) will be same (example: category = Manage Network  & service (business_service) =Manage Network ).

Usually the service offering will be dependence on the service (business_service) that we choose

lets consider the offering for the managed network is 123,1234,12345.

How can I auto populate the service offering based on the category we choose?

Do I need to use any script or any reference qualifier to be placed .

So, when you say populate SO based on the category, does it mean you’re storing the category values in SO as well? If yes, then you can make it dependent, like we have category and subcategory. No code or script is needed—just proper data alignment and making it dependent.
