During the initial implementation of our company portal ,default Service Now Self-service portal (/sp) was lost.

Now,It's highly required to get it back to test integrations of OOTB components into our company service portal

Please advise me how to restore the default service portal(/sp) .

Hi Chandan,

I assume you mean the artifact is deleted. If yes, then you can import the XML file from subprod/PDI instances

Thanks Pradeep for your quick reply.

As i don't have OOTB service portal(/sp) on subprod instances, i would need to import it from PDI instances.

I want to know if i just need to import the XML file related to "sp_portal" here.

Or All Related list,Main Menu, Home page , Login page and Themes and other things related to it will need to be imported also?

Yes, you are right. You need to explicitly import referenced records as well.

Hi,

Can you check if your custom portal was overwritten over the OOB one?

Navigate to Content Management > Sites and check which sites are there.

If that 'Employee Self Service' is still there and not updated other than SNow, you can start build your Portal based on that (ensure to Copy once you are within that site).

Kindly mark it correct and helpful if it is applicable.

Thanks,

Priyanka
