How to restrict Catalog Items on New External Portal created?

Create a new catalog in sc_catalog table.

Add the catalog in the catalog items you want to show on new portal

Go to "Service Portal > Portals"

Open you portal record

Scroll down to related lists

In "Search Sources", click on edit button to add catalogs as shown in image below

In Catalogs related list add newly created catalog by clicking on edit

Keep only newly created catalog in catalogs related list

Hi Jaheer,

 

External Portal need to have very few Catalog Item

For few Catalog Item to update all other Catalog Items is tedious task.

Please guide other way?

Hello,

If you are talking about visibility then use 'user criteria' and add that in 'Available for' and 'Not available for' tabs but if you don't want item to be appeared in portal then simply make this checkbox to true.
