How to restrict end user to delete attachment based on HR Case state?

Hi Team,

We have a requirement where we need to restrict an end users to delete an attachment on portal when the state of HR case is either draft or custom action. (attachement deletion is allowed on these states only)

I tried with ACL.

Still not working!

Please help!

Hi AG,

I tried both using business rules and ACL's.

Its still the same.

user can still delete the attachements.

However i have inactivated the default ACL's.

Please help me!

Can you share the ACL you tried it with? Just adding a delete ACL might not be enough, because of the OOB delete ACL's that already exist. You may need to go through all of those as well, to make sure they don't apply.
