How to rollback the changes committed through 'Pull' Operation from the Parent Instance in the Team Dashboard. There is an option to revert changes for an individual object from selected version to current version. But I do not see any option to revert all the changes done through 'Pull' operation in an instance. Please let me know if anyone has any idea/solution on this.

Other than taking back up of each xml files each time while pulling the changes from other instance and overriding them , Do we have any other better options to revert the changes?

No, this is similar to Git or any code configuration tool right? It overrides the files when you do the pull unless you have conflicts.

Hi Antin,

My question was to revert the complete set of changes done through pull operation.

I found a solution for this.

When we do 'pull' changes from another instance, a new Update set will be created in Local Update set in ServiceNow. If we want to revert the changes, we have an option to revert the complete changes using 'Back Out' option in the Local Update Sets.

Oh ok. I didn't know you wanted to revert back all the changes pulled. I thought you wanted an option to select a specific list.

Hi Vidya,

I have a similar requirement where I want to backout the changes made by pull operation.

However I couldnt find any local update set as you mentioned.

Can you please help me understand the exact name of the update set.

Thanks,

Aparna
