How to secure scripted rest API resources via script

Hey,

I have created a scoped application and a scripted REST API.

I have created ACLs for the scripted REST API but its not working for me.I have given rest_api_explorer role to a user and now he is able to access all the resources (GET,PUT,PATCH).

Can u please provide some boilerplate code to how to configure and restrict the resource in scripted REST API?
