How to send attachment in an email notification

Hi Team,

I am trying to do a personal task on PDI, here I need to send attachment which is attached to the notification [when email notification condition met, along with notification content, it should also send by default the attachment which is attached in that notification]

 

When receiver receives email, he should receive notification's attachment also [not record's attachment]

Found the Answer:

Steps:

1. Attach required document to the notification

2. Click on "What it will contain" tab

3. Go to "Message HTML" field

4. Click on "Insert or Edit link" option available in the field

5. Select Type as "Attachment" from the dropdown

6. Select URL as "required document[uploaded attachment]" from the dropdown

7. Type some text in the "Text"

8. Target as your choice

9. Click on "OK" button

10. Trigger the notification, receiver can receive email along with attachment!!

Hello,

Have you checked the 'Include attachments' checkbox in the 'What it will contain' tab on the Notification?

Hi

What do you mean by notification attachment? Attachments shall be linked to the record. Why did you link to notification? 

 

When notification is triggered, irrespective of record's attachments notification's attachment should be send to the receivers. [In my case, a document is attached to the "Notification" with the help of paper clip symbol on notification record]

- I am linking to notification only because it is a static document which needs to be send to all receivers of that notification
