We can hide catalog item/KB based on role not sure about button. What these button will be doing, once clicked.

Thank you for the reply, the hide of Catalog item is known, but my concern is to hide these button base on the Role. 

What these buttons do: When any user is going to click on these buttons based on the role assign to them, it will re-direct them to the respective page.

I have no idea, how to hide these, might be you need to write script to check the role and then based on that it will work.

Nope. Not without more information. This isn't OOB, so absolutely not possible to reproduce or check. Without the code behind it, we can't do a thing.
