How to Visually Differentiate Instances?

Alpa82

Hi,
I saw in the past on someone's  SN instance on the creen a banner  / tag  across the corner , that had a text
displaying information if the currently opened window is a production / qa or dev instances.
I can't find anywhere what is it called exactly. Would anyone have any experience with this?

Hi @Alpa82

Many way to do this

- If you are in UI 16 , you can apply different theme under user - preferences

-  You can create New themes for all env ( not a recommended) but a good option

- Use can use environment marker and set up like this.

another option is setting up an UX Banner Announcement

navigate to Now Experience Network/Configuration Settings/UX Banner Announcements

is not permanent necessarily as you have to set a start and end date (but can make that date way out in the future).
