I can't see the option "Variables" while creating a task for a catalog item

Hi all,

I've created variables for my catalogue item. It went well.

Now I'm creating related tasks, but when setting up the conditions, the option "Variable" does not appear in the dropdown !!!?!!?

What can be the problem ?

Thanks for your help.

Thomas

We probably not referring the same versions of serviceNow.

More like your instance has some customization that includes that tab.

But back to the original problem, you should get the Variables option after you click on the Show related fields (very last) entry - assuming the dependent field points to a table extending Task (which does seem to be the case).

Hi, look at the file attached. You see that I was busy configuring an item task within the catalog item screen.

The drop down where I should see the option "Variables" is an "out of the box" field. All other options within the drop down  are there apart from the option "Variables". I can't configure a filter condition for the task, based on a variable, if the options "Variables" is not in the drop down.

Can you explore on "item task within the catalog item screen" with screen shot of that page.

Share the screen shot of workflow, where this catalog task object it connected.

Also the given screen shot not clear about where exactly you are using this condition, give full picture.
