Hi Community,

I have written these catalog Ui policies in record producer for visible and mandatory of choice variables, these ui policies work in ESC Portal portal form but doesn't work in incident form even though we check the option
"Applies the Target Record".

why these Ui policies don't work on incident form even though we check the option called "Applies on the Target Record"

1. Do i need to configure again same kind of  ui policies on incident form as well?

2. Do we have any other option?

Srinivasu

Hi @Harish,

Thank you @Harish KM

Is it possible without creating same kind of fields (variables) in incident form?

Thanks,

Srinivasu

Hi @Srinivasu2 Yes . you dont need to create new fields, once you bring variables to the incident form , it should be mandatory since you have already checked UI policy apply on target table to true.

Ok Thank you, but i have one more question I need to see only entered values variables only, I don't want to see empty variables visible on incident form,

Could you please tell me how can we achieve this?

Thanks,

Srinivasu Sagiraju

Hi @Srinivasu2 check below script in  given url on how to hide empty variables. You would need a display BR and on load client script

Hi Harish,

If we use Incident variable editor in incident form, Is it useful for reporting purposes?

Thanks,
