Hi.
I am not sure if this is possible but here goes. In the instance we have about 80% of our users who current have access to the incident form (this is manage by the users being assigned to a group called Incident Form then the group has a custom role associated called incident_form.
The other 20% of the user base has limited access and can only view the knowledge base and request a password via a request item.
I have a bit of issue where on the OOB Service Portal Index page there are 4 icon links ( Get Help, Raise a Request, Knowledge and Community). The Get Help icon is linked to a custom page called incident which I have restricted to the role of incident_form. This stops users who does not have this role the ability to log incidents but I would like to go one step further and hide the Get Help icon
Is there any way for me to hide the Get Help icon link when the user does not have the custom role of incident_form assigned.
Thanks
Chris

HI,
Yes we can hide it for other roles.
1) Press control and right click on Get Help on portal
2) Click on instance Options
3) One model will open.then click on hamburger sign as below :
4) Click open hamburger and then click on open in platform. Then you can see below page.
Thanks,
