In service portal, there is a page called 'Ask a Question'. We have a catalog item by the name 'Ask a Question'. I want to populate the catalog item 'Ask a Question' in portal.Please help on how to achieve this?

Go to Portals, open your portal record and find Main Menu. Open main menu used and edit it.

There you can change, replace, add link inside to point to your catalogue item.

You have to clone popular questions widget and update line 7 in HTML code with url , to point to the catalog item.

Thank you for the reply. I tried that but its still not opening the catalog item.I guess I also have to modify the server script

Can you share your script ? . Was your custom widget replaced OOB widget in home page?

yes we are using custom widget.
