inactive fields are appearing in the list view

I have inactived a couple of fields as per the business requirement, but those fields are still available on the list view.

 

1. I have tried to remove entire data from those fields but still exists on the list view

2. did reset default columns and it didn't work

3. make fields active again and removed from the list view and again made those fields inactive, still those are being visible

4. cleared browser cache including within servicenow cache but still appearing on the list view

 

Please throw some light if you had experienced this issue

Make the field active again, remove it from list layout and than set It to inactive.

Remove the inactive field from form and list layout both.

if fields are inactivated then they should get removed from form and list

Inform your users to logout and login and then check
