Incident Communication Task / MIM workbench 'compose' UI action not visible

On MIM workbench communication task I can see the tasks but the 'Compose' button is missing, the same is also missing on the 'Incident Communication Task' record. I have compared the UI action in my instance with PDI and notice no difference, I have checked that email client true on 'Incident Communication Task' and 'Incident' table. I cant spot any difference in the script include the UI action call. Any pointers on why this could be happening and how to fix it.

If the "Compose" button is missing on the MIM Workbench Communication Task and the Incident Communication Task record, it could be due to a few reasons. Here are some potential solutions:

  1. Check the user's role and permissions: Ensure that the user has the necessary role and permissions to view and send communications on the MIM Workbench and Incident Communication Task. You can verify this by checking the user's role and the related ACLs for the tables involved.

  2. Verify that the user has the email client enabled: Ensure that the email client is enabled for the user's profile. You can check this by going to the user's profile and verifying that the "Use email client" option is selected.

  3. Check the related lists: Make sure that the related lists are configured correctly on the MIM Workbench Communication Task and Incident Communication Task record. Ensure that the correct related list is being used to display the "Compose" button and that it is visible on the form.

  4. Verify the UI action: Check the UI action associated with the "Compose" button to ensure that it is configured correctly. Make sure that the UI action is calling the correct script include and that it is referencing the correct table and field names.

Hi @sr82

Try to repair the following plugins in the lower environments.

Notify (com.snc.notify)
Collaboration Services (sn_tcm_collab_hook)

Major Incident Management

and see if this plugin is installed Task Communications Management UI Components for Configurable Workspaces
