Incident Management // Delete option disabled

Hi All,

 

I would like to be able to manage outages from a incident record.

 

Eg. in this example I would like to delete the selected outage record but the Delete option is disabled.

I cant delete the same record in the workbench neither the button DELETE is not present)

 

 

What role/permissions are required to be able to perform this action?

Hi @dev_K,

 

Deleting any related records, including Outages, is defined by the Security Rules (ACL's) against the associated table - in your case the 'cmdb_ci_outage' table.

 

In a baseline configuration, both ITIL and admin can delete as standard. This leads me to thinking some ACL's have been updated or configured on your instance.

Firstly, can you conform if you can delete any Test Outage records from the 'cmdb_ci_outage' table please.

Review the ACL by elevating your role and review the ACL against the 'cmdb_ci_outage' table with the 'delete' operation.

Once the ACL has been set appropriate you can deleted from the Incident form and Outages related list tab.
