I think is not, don't you have the option to actually add a link to your video? (you can upload video to an external platform like sharepoint) and you can solve this much easier.

I've run into a similar issue before; one thing to remember is that specific operating systems might not support inserting files directly into an article body, which could be a limitation.
You should also check if the video file you're trying to insert/edit is too large, as resizing it could help. I've been using the Movavi app, and it worked well for me in this regard.
