upon trying to create a new group, I get an error message "invalid insert", please help me correct if possible.

Hi @Lydon,
The role should not affect the group creation. As an HR Admin, this provides you with the ability to create groups etc.
There is clearly something configured on your instance preventing the insert. Do you have the ServiceNow Platform 'admin' role where you're able to check business rules etc?

FYI - here's the Out Of Box HR Admin Group created from my PDI - It must have been removed on your instance.

Hi @Lydon,
As a courtesy note, the Group 'Name' is a unique field - therefore please make sure the group doesn't already exist with this name.
I believe 'HR Admin' is an Out Of Box group that already exists.
Can you try creating a group with an alternative name? Also, make sure you have the correct 'Scope' selected if this is specifically HR application related.

There is no hr admi group, I do however have a hr admin role

Yes I have the admin role, I also figured out what the problem was, HR admin was marked as false, not sure why which is why I couldnt see it because the filter was set to active is true. Not sure why it was marked as false by one of my teammates but corrected to true
