Is it possible to apply AI search to Agent assist?

Hi,

 

I'd like to know whether AI search is applicable in Agent Assist in Contextual Side panel in next experience (workspace). If so, how would I set this up?

I mean AI search, the reason I want to apply AI search to agent assist is because I'd like to use the typo handler of AI search. 

The issue is that the agent assist search is not very "flexible". I'd like the search to return KB articles even when there is a slight typo in the search term. Is this possible to configure? For example, searching for "firewall" returns two KB articles, but "firewal" returns 0. There are over 3000 KB articles, so manually adding tags is too difficult. That's why I'd like to use AI search's typo handler functionality.

As of the Washington D.C. release, Agent Assist is not capable of using AI Search.

 

Please upvote the following idea in the Idea Portal to get ServiceNow to add this feature:

I know this is an older thread but does anyone know if this option is still unavailable? It looks like the idea is currently under review but just wanted to check and confirm if this is still the case with Zurich.

Yes, it is still unavailable in Zurich.

Following the idea is the most likely place we'll see any updates or changes.

You can use AI search under recommendation action context.
